WORLDS OF WHIMSY AND WONDER
From the moment she glued foil milk bottle tops onto a tortoise shell drawing in kindergarten, Tracy Paul knew she was destined to be an artist. For over five decades, she has transformed that childhood dream into a vibrant reality, crafting a unique artistic voice that speaks to the magic hidden in everyday life.

As a formally trained fine art printmaker, Tracy has honed a distinctive mixed media style that's as intricate as it is enchanting. Her signature technique blends pen, colored inks, aquarelle pencils, glitter, gold leaf, and metallic inks, creating pieces that shimmer with life and imagination. Each artwork is a miniature world unto itself, bejeweled with tiny details that invite viewers to lose themselves in wonder.

Tracy's African roots deeply influence her work, celebrating the continent's majestic wildlife with a whimsical twist. In her imaginative renderings, rhinos sport accessorized horns, lionesses adorn their whiskers with sparkly stars, and owls attend tea parties in vintage heels. This playful approach to nature, combined with her fascination for all things magical and miniature, results in art that's both grounded in reality and soaring with fantasy.

More than just a creator, Tracy is a dream manifester. Whether crafting pieces of her own design or translating clients' visions into treasured artworks, she brings a touch of enchantment to every project. Her versatility shines through commissioned pieces that commemorate life's milestones and in commercial collaborations that bring her designs to journals, homeware, and beyond.

At the heart of Tracy's work is the Bluebird of Happiness, her career-long logo and constant companion. It embodies her steadfast belief that in a often harsh world, whimsy and delight are not just luxuries, but necessities. Through her art, Tracy reminds us all to seek out and celebrate the magical details that surround us, transforming the ordinary into the extraordinary with every stroke of her pen.
Tracy Paul doesn't just create art; she crafts portals to worlds of imagination, inviting us all to step through and rediscover the wonder that lives in every corner of our lives.
BESPOKE COMMISSIONS
My most enjoyable pastime is working on bespoke commissions. These original artworks are highly detailed miniatures containing lots of personal detail belonging to the owner of the piece. Each artwork is like a tiny visual jewel of all that person's favourite things.
